Production of two bodies under VANHOOL license, one for the urban bus and
one for intercity coach, the specific tools were provided by VANHOOL.

Development of own design and bodywork
In 1992, new purchase contract for chassis and/or "KD" bodywork with technical assistance and transfer of knowhow signed with the following partners:
• IVECO (Italy) for Standard and Comfort Buses, Coaches and Minibuses.
• RVI (France) for Minibus (35-40 seats).
• SNVI (Algeria) for Minibus (35-40 seats).
• IKARUS (Hungry) for Standard and Articulated buses.

Introduction of the Mercedes-Benz brand.
• ICAR SA currently offers a large and broad potential for vehicle production in accordance with
international standards in terms of quality and reliability while guaranteeing the company a reputation
positive in Tunisia in the areas of bodywork of buses and coaches and the assembly of
industrial vehicles.
• ICAR SA counts among its clients the National Transport Companies (TRANSTU, SNTRI), the companies
regional transport companies, private transport companies (TUT, TCV, TUS) and travel agencies.
